Xiaomi has started teasing the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series. The new smart TVs will arrive later this month with slim bezels. The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series may be Chinese exclusives for the time being, though.
Xiaomi has begun teasing a new TV series under its Redmi brand. Until recently, the company had been promoting the Mi TV Master 77, a 77-inch and affordable OLED TV. Now, it has moved onto the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series, likely cheaper options compared to the Mi TV Master 77.
The Chinese company has not announced where it will sell the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series yet, but current models are only available in China and India. As it stands, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Smart TV X 2020 series in 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch display sizes. Hence, we would not be surprised if Xiaomi included another display size or two for its 2022 editions.
Additionally, the Redmi Smart TV X 2020 series supports DTS Virtual X, Dolby Audio, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and MEMC. Presumably, Xiaomi will bring all the features to the Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series, along with 4K panels. So far, Xiaomi has only published two teasers, which we have embedded below. The Redmi Smart TV X 2022 series will arrive on October 20.
